Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments Policy
Neurotech strives to provide patients with high quality and timely EEG services. Appointments are scheduled in advance and times are reserved exclusively for our patients. An appointment is considered a commitment between the patient and Neurotech. Scheduled appointments are subject to personal accountability and responsibility in keeping and managing appointments. Late cancellations and missed appointments result in unplanned appointment openings that Neurotech is often unable to refill on short notice.

Late Cancellations
To be respectful of the needs of other patients, prompt cancellations or rescheduling are necessary. We require that patients (or their representatives) call three business days in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Missed Appointments
A missed appointment occurs when a patient fails to be present for their scheduled appointment.

Late Cancellation and Missed Appointment Fees
Failure to give a three-business day notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment may result in a non-refundable fee of $50.00. Failure of a patient to be present for their scheduled appointment may result in a non-fundable fee of $50.00. These fees are not covered by patients’ insurance companies and will be billed directly to patients.

Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a determination not to provide EEG services to a patient.
